elevated LjFT1 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear father, Vincenzo Baldassarra on December 21, 2018, at the age of 93, peacefully, with family by his side. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Maria.  Devoted father of Anna (Joe) and Tony (Teresa). His grandchildren David (Stefania), Julie (Andrea), Matthew (Elysia), Andrea (Gianfranco),  Michael (April) and great grandchildren Victoria, Andrew, Benjamin, Audrey and Greyson were  Nonno’s greatest pride and joy. Our father worked tirelessly during his lifetime to create a brighter future for his family.Vincenzo will be lovingly remembered by his surviving brothers Carlo (Giuseppina),  Attilio (Irma), sister Evelina (Loreto), sister-in-law Loreta, many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home for visitation on Saturday, December 22, 2018, from 6-8 pm, and on Sunday, December 23, 2018,  from 1-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Avenue). Funeral will be held on Monday, December 24, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Augustine of Canterbury Roman Catholic Church, 80 Shoreham Drive, North York.  Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
 In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to SickKids Foundation.
